Last week, FlyQuest made an abrupt mid-season transfer of top laner Eric "Licorice" Ritchie to Golden Guardians, and subsequently, started the entirety of the FLY Academy roster in week 6 of the LCS Summer Split.
"One day I woke up on FlyQuest and I had no plans of moving," Licorice told Inven Global the evening after his transfer. "The next day, I woke up and went to scrim at the Golden Guardians office."
Mid laner Nick "Ablazeolive" Abbott will retain his starting position alongside jungler Ethan "Iconic" Wilkinson and AD carry Trevor "Stixxay" Hayes, but two new faces will be joining the LCS roster for the Summer Split.
Stixxay sat down with Inven Global to talk about his 2020 season on Counter Logic Gaming, his reasons for joining Golden Guardians, and the various nuances of the team and its performance throughout the 2021 LCS Lock In.
This off-season, 100 is reportedly keeping only one player, their star top laner, Kim "Ssumday" Chan-ho.
