CLG has had a rough few years since their 2016 MSI Finals appearance. They performed well in NA in 2017, but barring a 2019 Summer Split third-place finish, they've been seventh or lower for the other five splits. UPDATE 10/20: Mark "RiotScruffy" Yetter has Tweeted changes coming to League of Legends in Patch 10.22 that he claims are 'not 100% locked but pretty close. In addition, it was confirmed in another Tweet that a bug affecting Kindred's Mark of the Kindred passive would be fixed in 10.22.
In a press release leading up to Worlds, Riot announced that they'd attempt to host guests for the big title match, and later in the tournament, they confirmed that they'd invite just over 6,000 guests to attend the grand finale.

TSM signed Winston as their new Academy Jungler after promoting Spica to their starting roster. Winston was part of Team Infernal in the 2019 NASG and played in the collegiate scene before then. Learn more about his addition to the team here:

In order to uphold competitive integrity, Riot Games has implemented a stream delay in their broadcasts. However, in Game 1 of the LCL Finals between Unicorns of Love and RoX, one of the streams didn't have a full three minute delay, and was instead casted live in English. Evil Geniuses Academy are the first team to secure a spot in the 2020 LCS Academy Spring Split Playoff Finals. They faced the early season favorites, Dignitas Academy, in the Semifinals and knocked them out with a clean 3-1 series victory. Read more on the team here:
