After his recent addition to the Cloud9 team, streamer and content creator, Christian "IWillDominate" Rivera, interviewed the Cloud9 League Championship Series roster about their failure to qualify for Worlds and what it means for the team. Throughout the interview, he brought up topics like scrim culture, their late-season slump, and the lack of Championship Points. Towards the end, he announced that the roster would stick together as the starting five going into Spring Split.

"One thing people don't know that I guess we can announce here is that the team is actually sticking together. All five of you guys are going to be C9's starting team going into Spring 2021," Dom said. He followed up the announcement by asking if they had any worry about returning to their peak and finding dominance again in the LCS despite making no roster changes after failing to qualify for Worlds.

"It's good to know there aren't going to be any huge changes." Eric "Licorice" Ritchie said of the announcement. "We all get along really well, so it's good to know that I'm going to be playing with them next year."

Cloud9 completely dominated 75% of the year, going 35-2 in their first 37 games of the 2020 season, and they claimed their first NA title since 2014 Sping. Of course, they ultimately failed when it mattered most, entering the off-season early for the first time in the org's history. Be sure to watch the full interview posted on Cloud9's YouTube channel, linked below. What do you think of the roster? Do you hope to see other changes from Cloud9 for next Spring Split, or are you excited about the run back and optimistic for their 2021?
