Three months after the World Showdown of Esports dipped its toes into competitive Hearthstone, the franchise is making a return to card-slinging action on March 30th and March 31st. However, there's a fresh twist to it this time around. Instead of the usual groups-into-playoffs format, four competitors will fight to face reigning champion Jia Dee in the grand finals for a $15,000 prize.
The four other competitors in the race for the title are Cora, Alliestrasza, Pathra and Slysssa. On the first they of competition they'll fight in a double-elimantion bracket, with Last Hero Standing being the format of choice. The second day commences with a handful of of $2,500 money matches between the competitors and yet-to-be-revealed challengers, before the top competitor takes on Jia in the grand finals.
Like in the first iteration, there are a couple of challenges competitors can compete in on the side, bringing some extra spice to the matches. Players with the highest consecutive win count, game 1 wins and reverse sweeps also get a monetary bonus, bringing the total available prize money to $38,000.

Storyteller by heart. If something is competitive, I am interested in it.
