The two biggest esports team from Taiwan, 'Flash Wolves' and 'ahq e-Sports', came to Korea to meet and potentially hire amateur players.

While visiting Seocho, Seoul, ahq e-Sports manager Hulk and Flash Wolves' manager 4leaf attended Korea's 3rd annual League of Legends tryouts on the 28th. The annual tryout first started in 2015, but it was the very first time foreign teams have attended. The two managers expressed their enthusiasm and expectations of the Korean amateur players and revealed the goals of their teams in the upcoming season.

Hulk of ahq e-Sports said, "If Taiwan also held events like this, it would've given us more options for hiring new players. There are a total of 6 Korean players in the LMS, and ahq is not shy when it comes to hiring one if the player is talented and is inclined to join a foreign team."

To answer the question regarding ahq's goal for 2018, Hulk replied, "Our team has a lot of veterans... so we're in the process of slowly replacing some of them with new blood. It'll be difficult to make great results with new players from the getgo, but we'll make sure to do our best to become a top team in the Summer."

Flash Wolve's manager, 4leaf, also shared his plan for 2018. "I came to Korea to see if there is a player that is suitable for playing on FW. Also, I wanted to watch and learn how this kind of event takes place. We might've said farewell to an outstanding player, Karsa, but we're doing our best to find a suitable player that can replace him. At Worlds, FW was eliminated during the group stages, but we'll do our best to produce better results during the 2018 World Championship."
