In the 2026 LoL Champions Korea (LCK) regular season Round 4 Rise Group match held at Chzzk LoL Park in Jongno on August 19, Hanjin Brion secured a complete 2-0 victory over DN SOOPers. Fresh off winning the KeSPA Cup just the day before, DN SOOPers were given a stern reminder of Hanjin Brion's authority as the top team in the Rise Group.
In Game 1, both teams traded kills back and forth in a tight contest. Throughout the match, Hanjin Brion stacked dragons one-sidedly through coordinated team macro, while DN SOOPers gained gold advantages through side-lane management driven by the growth of Lee "DuDu" Dong-ju's Ambessa. Even in the fight for the fourth dragon, Hanjin Brion came out ahead to secure the Ocean Soul, though the gold score remained virtually even.
Around the 30-minute mark, the balance broke. Hanjin Brion picked off Kim "Sharvel" Dan-woo's Qiyana, who was hiding in ambush, secured Baron, and then picked up additional kills in the following skirmish to build a massive lead. Ultimately, in the final mid-lane teamfight, Hanjin Brion scored an ace while surrendering only Shin "Casting" Min-je's Olaf, taking Game 1.
Game 2 followed a similar momentum. Kim "Gideon" Min-seong, locked in on Pantheon, set a swift pace early on. He secured first blood with a top-lane gank and traded back when the opponent invaded his jungle. After stealing a Scuttle Crab with his spear, he picked off Seo "deokdam" Dae-gil's Ezreal in the bottom lane. DN SOOPers caught a breath by shutting down Shin "Casting" Min-je's Yorick.
Hanjin Brion then caught out Sharvel's Skarner as he cleared a Control Ward. DN SOOPers managed another kill in the side lane, but when they targeted Yorick once more, Hanjin Brion hit back hard, claiming four kills in response. Winning a teamfight despite being at a numerical disadvantage, Hanjin Brion secured a fresh Baron right upon spawn.
The global gold gap quickly widened past 5,000. Hanjin Brion continued to win skirmish after skirmish, extending the lead to 10,000 gold by the 26-minute mark. In front of Baron, Jeong "Peter" Yoon-su's Seraphine attempted a surprise engage, but the follow-up damage fell far short. Demonstrating a clear gap in raw power, Hanjin Brion closed out Game 2 to complete the sweep.
