The global streaming platform Twitch announced it will broadcast what looks to be an all-star tournament of sorts for Asian Hearthstone - "WIRFORCE" - starting from August 18th. Two invitees each from Korea, Japan, Taiwan, and Hong Kong will face off in two online groups; the two top players from each group qualify for an all-expenses-paid LAN finals in Taipei.
Representing each nation are Kranich and Handsomeguy for Korea, Pinpingho and AHQ.Roger for Taiwan, Jako and Mattun for Japan, and Yulsic and 一抽八魂 for Hong Kong. Most are of some international fame; all are recognized domestically for their skill.
Group stage matches will be played every Thursday 21:00 KST, from August 18th to September 29th. The LAN finals will be played between November 11st and November 13rd.
WIRFORCE is organized by Taiwan's 4Gamers and sponsored by Blizzard Entertainment.
