On May 10th (PDT) in Rio de Janerio, Brazil; SK Telecom T1 defeated G2 Esports in the first match of Mid-Season Invitational 2017. After the game, Seunghoon "Huni" Heo was interviewed on stage for his thoughts after the match.

Huni started the interview by saying how happy he was to be back in the international stage after a long time. "The last time that I've been at an international stage was when I was with Fnatic, and it's my first time in the international stage with SKT. It was important to prove that I was the top laner right from the first game with SKT."

As for his pick, he explained that although Galio was a slow starter, he wasn't worried at all: "Galio is a slow starter compared to Renekton, but it was easy for us to come back in the late game because Galio has better CC and impactful ult. Also, our pick and ban was just better."

Huni's resolution for MSI 2017 was to prove that he is the best, and it isn't just for MSI: "'SKT is the best team in the history, and Huni is the best top laner in the world.' That's what I want to prove in the MSI, and I'm ready to win the MSI 2017 too. Even when we go to the Worlds, I simply want to win everything."

Finally, he boasted how the opening ceremony felt like it was made for SKT. "It felt amazing. We were standing in the middle with Faker holding the cup, and it was like everyone was like trying to beat us. It made me feel like the MSI was made for SKT."
