On July 31, Gen.G posted a statement about the recent security issue at the team facility. According to their announcement, an unidentified person trespassed Gen.G’s team facility located in Seoul. Specifically, this person attempted to enter the team facility or waited in the players’ paths while carrying a weapon.

Gen.G said that they have reported this to the police and that they will do their best to protect their members. Additionally, they said they will respond to any threats to their members or any impersonations of the Gen.G staff.

On this issue, Gen.G COO Arnold Hur said, “The safety of our players always comes first, and we have contacted the authorities, increased security,” and assured that all the players are safe, thanks to the staff and security.
