Due to sickness, Yiliang "Peter" "Doublelift" Peng will not be playing in Team Liquid's Saturday game against TSM. Edward "Tactical" Ra will take his place on stage, playing against his former org in his League of Legends Championship Series debut. After experiencing multiple visa issues throughout the beginning of the season and falling behind expectations, this is yet another potential slowdown for the current fourpeat victors of the LCS.
Tactical was spoken by many of his peers to have LCS potential after his first season in Academy with TSM last year. He and the team won Spring Academy, claiming the trophy while his support played from Canada due to visa issues of their own. He came through Scouting Grounds 2018, where he was recognized as the second best prospect behind Aaron "FakeGod" Lee, who has seen plenty of LCS time already on 100 Thieves.
Tactical has been scrimming with the main team these past few days, but losing a star player is crucially devastating after Team Liquid's slower than expected start of the season. TSM faltered last week, but a Doublelift-less TL is surely unfavored in the matchup. Liquid hasn't stated whether or not they plan to use Doublelift for their Sunday game against 100 Thieves, but Doublelift himself hints that he is out all weekend.
