One of the final hurdles to Sweden hosting the CounterStrike Major fell this week as the government changed their requirements for competitors attempting to secure visas to enter the nation for esports.
Roughly a week before the LCS 2021 Lock-In, Counter Logic Gaming had multiple members on its professional League team catch COVID. CLG is also experiencing visa slowdowns. They've signed two temporary subs, here is their new roster:
Due to sickness, Doublelift will not be playing in Team Liquid's Saturday game against TSM. Tactical will take his place on stage, playing against his former org, TSM. Read more on Tactical and Team Liquid here:
Wednesday morning, CLG tweeted out that former mid laner, Pobelter, would be re-joining the team as starting mid laner after a 1-7 start to the season. Pobelter replaces Crown, and will hope to help the team turn around their season. Read more here:
Many LCS orgs have been plagued by visa delays this off-season, but CLG finally secured their last player, Wind, who has just arrived to Los Angeles. With his return to the team, CLG has all of its members eligible for play. Read more on the team here:
