Trashtalk and trolling — interviewing Team Liquid at their Worlds 2019 bootcamp

With Worlds 2019 around the corner, the team decided to bootcamp in The Netherlands. We went for a visit and talked to the five Liquid players. While enjoying a Dutch treat, 'pepernoten', they discussed their thoughts on other teams, and what the team itself still could improve on. They also played two games to reveal more about themselves individually, and about each other as teammates. It became an interview filled with banter and trolling, though through the cracks of it all honesty and passion showed.

The four teams who win their respective matches will be randomly seeded into the groups of the Main Event of Worlds 2019, excluding groups that already include a team of the Play-In seeds' respective regions. The four losing teams will be eliminated from the 2019 League of Legends World Championship.

On the 4th, despite Clutch Gaming's rough start in the play-in stages, they defeated Unicorns of Love in the tiebreaker match and became the 1st seed in their group to move onto the knockout stage.

Splyce and Isurus Gaming will qualify for the Knockout Stage as Group B's respective 1st and 2nd seed, and by escaping the Group Stage, come one step closer to the Main Event of the 2019 League of Legends World Championship.

Splyce Vizicsacsi on the team he wants to avoid in the knockout stages: "It's obviously DAMWON... but we're glad to be 1st seed, since I don’t see them losing a single game in their group."
