Dignitas snapped its losing streak against 100 Thieves to start Week 4 of the 2020 League of Legends Championship Series Spring Split. The team got off to a hot 3-0 start, but then lost as many games in succession as other teams in the LCS began to synergize. DIG went back to the drawing board and got creative to get itself out of its funk. Ornn was drafted for Mid Laner Henrik "Froggen" Hansen, and Heo "Huni" Seung-hoon threw the LCS a curveball by locking in the infamous top lane Soraka. Dignitas' trust in innovation paid off, rallying around the Miss Fortune of rookie AD Carry Johnson "Johnsun" Nguyen for the team's fourth victory of the season. After besting 100 Thieves, Huni sat down with Inven Global's Nick Geracie to discuss the team's adjustments heading into Week 4, top lane mages, and DIG's identity amongst its LCS peers.
Froggen spoke to Inven Global's Nick Geracie about his 2019 season with Golden Guardians, joining Dignitas, and the team's strong start in the 2020 LCS season.

Dignitas fills in their final Academy spot, signing former IMT, TL, and GG support, Olleh. This completes the DIG Academy squad with 5 former LCS veterans, giving them a stacked roster and a lot of places for substitutions and swap-outs for the LCS.
After visa issues with their previous Academy top lane signing, Rodov, Dignitas has signed former LCS top laner, Lourlo. Dignitas is now only lacking a support player for their Academy roster, boasting four veterans on the Academy so far.

As reported by Jacob Wolf and ESPN on November 11th, Heo "Huni" Seung-hoon has reached a verbal agreement with Team Dignitas for a two year contract extension totaling $2.3 million guaranteed.
Whatever the reasons are for Team Liquid and NA's overall failure to make it out of groups, it is unacceptable. No matter what the problem was. But this isn't just a Liquid problem, this is an NA problem, and it needs to change.
