Despite most of the focus this off-season revolving around Doublelift and TSM's side of the big roster swaps, Liquid may have won out on the deal, with Tactical ending 7/0/6 in the opening matchup against the two teams.

Just ahead of the 2020 Summer Split, Riot Games has announced a multi-year partnership with Verizon and the LCS. Verizon will be the official 5G provider for the league, and will sponsor various parts of the broadcast. Read more on the partnership here:

Earlier this year, TSM released plans for a new "Performance Center," a place where TSM pros would not only practice, but also eat, lounge, exercise, stream, create content, etc. They'll be playing their LCS games from the closed facility this Summer, with permission from Riot Games. Huni left Dignitas early this off-season, joining his old Clutch Gaming staff, Andrew Barton and Artemis, as well as reuniting with former SKT teammate, Bang. Regardless of playing Academy, Huni is happy to be in a better environment for himself and his mental health. Read more here:

In Riot Games' most recent update to the Champion Roadmap for June 2020, it was confirmed by Lead Champion Producer Ryan 'Reav3' Mireles that three new champions would be hitting Summoner's Rift in the near future.
