Team Liquid signs entire fish123 roster to form their own VALORANT team
Team Liquid is proud to announce their new esports roster for VALORANT, the new tactical shooter made by Riot Games. The five-man roster consists of the entire former fish123 roster that did so well during the game's early tournaments, most recently placing second at the WePlay! VALORANT Invitational. Dallas Fuel fire support HarryHook for calling women "bitches" and "whores"
Overwatch League franchise team Dallas Fuel announced Thursday that it's dropped support player Jonathan "HarryHook" Tejedor over "player misconduct". The misconduct in question has HarryHook using misogynic language, calling women "whores" and "bitches", and was brought to public attention August 5 by members of the Overwatch community.

Riot Games disables Killjoy for FaZe Clan VALORANT Invitational
FaZe Clan announced the disabling of Killjoy for its Ignition Series tournament via the FaZe Update Twitter account with the following explanation: "Due to the recency of Killjoy's release, there is a risk that multiple issues may negatively impact the competitive integrity of this weekend's tournament. As such, Riot Games has requested that she be disabled in official tournaments until they are confident in her stability."

[UPDATED 8/5] FaZe Clan signs Rawkus; Babybay to complete VALORANT roster
UPDATE 8/5: FaZe Clan has confirmed the signing of Rawkus as its fifth VALORANT player, which completes its starting roster. Rawkus was a member of FaZe Clan in 2016 at the start of his professional Overwatch career, and will now return to the organization to start his VALORANT career.

Runeterra's new Tri-Region Gauntlet drops today, next balance patch not for another month
Patch 1.7 for Legends of Runeterra will arrive today, August 5, Riot Games confirmed Tuesday, but it's mostly going to be focused on the Spirit Blossom festival and the non-standard game modes. The Patch will introduce a new Gauntlet mode called Tri-Region, which will allow players to break the two-region limit.
