MVP and Longzhu Gaming each received a Caution penalty in the LCK Spring Split.

On January 31st*, Riot Games announced that MVP and Longzhu Gaming have each received a Caution* penalty for Intentional Disconnection and Tardiness respectively.

This announcement was made due to the offense that occurred on January 24th, when MVP's toplaner Gunmo 'ADD' Kang disconnected from the game before the game was finished. Because of this, MVP received a Caution penalty due to Intentional Disconnection.

Longzhu Gaming also received a Caution penalty for Tardiness on January 25th in the match against KT Rolster. While Tardiness itself is not an offense that results in a Caution penalty, Longzhu Gaming's penalty had been revised to a Caution since they had already received a Verbal Warning* for being late in the match that took place on January 17th.

According to the LCK's 2017 Official Season Rules, any team that receives a second Caution in a season will have the penalty increased to a Warning*, which will result in losing a set score in the leaderboard.
