Because of how Faker couldn’t participate in last year’s LoL World Championship, he promised to show good results in this year’s tournament. As for his comments on his group, which is also known as the ‘Group of Death’, he said that “We’ll eventually meet those teams sooner or later.”

His first words were about how he failed to make it into the tournament last year, so his appearance this year has significantly more meaning than any other years, and stated, “I want to capture the trophy that I was so close to winning 2 years ago.” He also told us that he needed to maintain a good condition and quickly overcome jet lag for the upcoming tournament.

SKT is in group C, alongside RNG and Fnatic.
