On the 10th (KST), kt Rolster defeated Jin Air Green Wings 2-1. They tied the wins with Hanwha Life Esports, who were in competition with them to get out of the relegation match. After the match, Go “Score” Dong-bin said that he hates SKT for not being of any help.

How do you feel winning today’s match?

If we lost against Jin Air today, we would most likely have gone to the promotions/relegations match. Fortunately, we were able to win 2-1. I think we would need to bring up our performance more.

Hanwha Life Esports defeated SK Telecom T1 in the previous match.

It feels like SKT never helped me. I really hate them for losing today as well. (Laughs)

Many people say that KT’s performance is very inconsistent.

There are many problems, but I’m really regretful of our concentration in official matches. If we’re able to fix that, we’ll be able to deliver decent performances.

Your remaining matches have become more important.

Our competitor for the promotion/relegation match, Hanwha Life Esports, has been interfering with the higher ranked teams. Aside from going to the promotions/relegations, I want to do the same. It would be better if we can deliver good performances.

Why do you think you lost Game 2?

We were quite nervous and I think our concentration was at the lowest at that point.

When Cheongo plays, many teams look out for Zed and Karthus, but KT didn’t.

We had faced Zed and Karthus in official matches, so we didn’t think they were that threatful. What we didn’t predict was the Evelynn pick.
