Coach Comet will be returning to SANDBOX Gaming

Coach Lim “Comet” Hye-sung, who had previously coached Jin Air Green Wings, Afreeca Freecs, and Suning will be returning to the LCK in SANDBOX Gaming.

Comet first appeared in the scene as a support player of Xenics Storm. Soon later, he became a coach in Jin Air and Afreeca. In Afreeca Freecs, he contributed to the team to reach Worlds in 2018. After parting ways with Afreeca, Comet headed to the LPL and joined Suning as the head coach.

Suning had a good start with an early winning streak, but as the team fell in a slump from the midseason, they ended 10th with a 6-9 record. As the season ended, Comet left Suning and returned to the LCK, and joined SANDBOX Gaming.

On joining SANDBOX, Comet said, “I’d like to be of some help to continue SANDBOX’s sandstorm in the summer.”
