This is the full text of  T-Wolves Gaming's March 5th, 2019 press release.

Minneapolis-St. Paul – T-Wolves Gaming, the official NBA 2K League affiliate of the Minnesota Timberwolves, will participate in the franchise’s inaugural NBA 2K League Draft on Tuesday, March 5 at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, N.Y. T-Wolves Gaming is an expansion franchise that will join the NBA 2K League in 2019. Minnesota joins the affiliates of the Atlanta Hawks, Brooklyn Nets and Los Angeles Lakers in signing on for the league’s second season, bringing the total number of teams to 21. The NBA 2K League Draft, which will begin at 4 p.m. (CT), will be livestreamed on the league’s Twitch channel. It will feature four rounds, with T-Wolves Gaming owning the following selections:

- 11th overall (first round)
- 34th overall (12th pick in the second round)
- 53rd overall (11th pick in the third round)
- 76th  overall (12th pick in the fourth round)

126 players will compete in the NBA 2K League’s second season – and new this year – more players will be draft-eligible than spots available in the league. The draft-eligible player pool will consist of new players who were selected by the league following an extensive tryout process, players from the league’s APAC Invitational that took place in Hong Kong, as well as unretained players from season one who successfully completed Combine requirements.

T-Wolves Gaming Head Coach Shawn Vilvens will lead a team highlighted by Brandon “HOOD” Caicedo, a point guard from Weston, Fla. and Mihad “IFEAST” Feratovic, a power forward from Brooklyn, N.Y. The pair was acquired through the expansion draft in September following the inaugural season of the NBA 2K League.

The NBA 2K League Draft is a huge moment for esports and speaks to the potential of the league. Players will wait in the audience at Barclays Center for their name to be called, participate in national media interviews amid a red carpet, and be treated to a VIP experience in New York City following the draft. NBA 2K League content has generated more than 152 million video views across all NBA and NBA 2K League social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Twitch and YouTube). In season one, the 17 NBA 2K League teams formed more than 90 corporate and marketing partnerships.
