After spending the majority of the 2018 Summer Split on FlyQuest Academy, William "Meteos" Hartman has returned to the NA LCS on a new team! He signed with OpTic Gaming, who is rebuilding much of their roster in efforts to improve on their first years placings. With multiple positions still left to fill, Meteos doesn't have many expectations set for this split, other than to improve himself as a player and teammate. He mentions, "throughout my career, people have rated me low... People can make whatever narratives they want. I'll just be here playing and trying to win my games."

He also breaks down his understanding of the current jungle and game meta, and where he believes the developers need to steer to bring the game to a more healthy place by this Spring. With a Dark Harvest nerf, reverting the ability to funnel and lane swap, and slight changes to machete, talisman, and the monsters themselves, he believes the jungle will be a much more creative and inclusive space.

Though he states every team looks competitive this year, the few standout roster moves for him are Jensen to Liquid and Bang and Huhi to 100T. He thinks the league is continuing to improve its teams every year and is excited for a competitive season.
