Cameron “Fusions” Bosworth has been signed to a two-way contract with the Boston Uprising and Toronto Esports, the former's Contenders team, Boston Uprising announced on Monday. At BlizzCon 2018, Fusions wowed the Overwatch community with his stellar performance on Team UK, which finished in the Top 4 of the Overwatch World Cup. Previously, the 19-year-old played for the British Hurricane.
Fusions will begin his 2019 season with Toronto Esports, but he is eligible to compete in the Overwatch League alongside the Boston Uprising as well and counts towards Boston Uprising's overall player limit of 12. He will lose his eligibility to compete with Toronto Esports if he appears in more than two Overwatch League matches and he cannot compete in both Overwatch League and Overwatch Contenders matches in the same week.
“We are excited to add Cameron ‘Fusions’ Bosworth to our roster,” said Chris “HuK” Loranger, President of Gaming for The Kraft Group, in the team's official announcement. “We feel that ‘Fusions’ will be an important part of both the Uprising and Toronto Esports and we look forward to having him as a part of the team.”
The Overwatch League returns February 14, 2019. By December 1, 2018, all Overwatch League teams must have a minimum of eight players under contract.
