Within the span of an hour Wednesday morning, three Infinite Esports & Entertainment and OpTic Gaming employees all announced that they had been let go and were looking for work. Meanwhile, Ryan "OpTicJ" Musselman revealed a new Twitter bio announcing his promotion to President of Infinite E&E.

James "Obscuria" Chen, an editor for Infinite; Austin "Gomey" Gomez, a graphic designer for Infinite; and "Matlock," a League of Legends coordinator for OpTic Gaming have joined the growing list of ex-employees of Infinite E&E and its subsidiaries. 

Infinite Esports & Entertainment is the parent company of both OpTic Gaming and the Houston Outlaws, as well as Allegiance, another smaller esports organization, and the Obey Alliance. In recent weeks, it has seen a number of high-level departures and shake-ups. 

Ali "Alicus" Saba, former Director of International Development, was let go from the organization in late September, while Romain Bigeard, former General Manager for OpTic Gaming, and Kyle "KyKy" Souder, former assistant coach for the Houston Outlaws, were let go a mere two days ago. Now, the aforementioned editor, graphic designer, and team coordinator have announced their impending job searches.

According to a recent report from Sports Business Daily, a total of 19 employees have been laid off and Infinite President Chris Chaney has been replaced by Infinite Senior Vice President of Global Partnerships Ryan "OpTicJ" Musselman. Musselman's new Twitter bio -- which had previously become mysteriously blank -- reflects this change.

Speaking to Sports Business Daily, the holding company's new President said: "Generally speaking, we think we grew too fast." Chris Chaney, the previous President, will retain his co-founder and ownership positions.
