AfreecaTV, via press release, announced KT as Afreeca Starleague Season 2's official sponsor. KT has also previously sponsored ASL Season 1.
According to the press release, KT's stable backing allowed AfreecaTV to significantly enlarge the tournament's total prize pool for this season. Season 2's total prize pool will be 35 million KRW, a considerable increase from Season 1's 10 million KRW.
