A match that truly showed the strength of Southeast Asia.

On the 8th of December in LA, the 2017 League of Legends All-Star day 2 game 2 has just finished. The match was between Southeast Asia (SEA) All-Stars vs NA All-Stars. SEA overcame the initial difficulties in the early game and successfully came back. After the game, SEA’s support, KRA, with his unique Shen pick was interviewed. Let’s see what he has to say!

¤ You had an incredible upset win against North America. What were your expectations moving into that game?

Basically, we have been losing every scrim. I think deep down, everyone was expecting to lose. But before the game we just said, “okay let’s just play solo queue style” and it worked.


¤ We know you are a pretty big fan of Aphromoo of course. The support that you played against this match. What are your thoughts playing against a player like that? Someone you looked up to for quite a while.

Going into the game, I was feeling a little bit nervous. However at level 1, I managed to out trade Sneaky quite hard so the godlike complex I had of them was gone after that. I realized that “oh these guys are actually not that hard”. Just go in on them.


¤ I know you are a big Redditor. You love to check the forums. I have a feeling there is going to be a highly upvoted thread after that match. What do you hope Reddit says about you guys after this win?

I don’t really have an idea on what they are going to say about us. However, I know they are going to say things like “NA in international events”. I’m just looking forward to the memes.


¤ You have one more match to play to potentially move into the knockout stage. What do you think your chances are up against the Brazilian All-Stars?

Our morale is pretty high now. I would say our chances are 60-40.
