Scopely Explore announced on November 6 that it will host 'Monster Hunter Now Carnival 2026: Global,' a global event for 'Monster Hunter Now,' from November 28 to 29. Global event ticket holders can take on hunts for the Elder Dragon 'Amatsu' and Riftborne 'Nargacuga' from anywhere in the world.
During the event, cooldowns for 'Hunt-a-thons' and 'Elder Dragon Interceptions' will be removed, and the interaction range will be expanded by 1.5 times. The amount of materials obtained from small monsters and gathering points will also double. The event-exclusive accessory 'Necklace [2026: Global]' will increase attack power by 200 during the event period, while event-exclusive equipment will benefit from boost effects and reduced material requirements for upgrades.
Appearing three times a day, 'Amatsu' is an Elder Dragon that manipulates the weather and summons fierce storms. The hunt consists of two phases. Hunters can first attack its dimensional outer shell using the new Hunting Installation 'Machine Cannon' to gain an advantage in the battle ahead, and then directly intercept 'Amatsu' as it attacks the exploration base.
Riftborne 'Nargacuga' will appear on the field and in 'Hunt-a-thons.' As a fast-moving monster, hunters must predict its movements and accurately target its special part. Upgrading weapons forged from 'Nargacuga' materials to Grade 10 increases their affinity to 40%. Players can also boost parameters further through Style Customization to target critical hits.
The new feature 'Stamp Hunt' allows players to collect stamps by completing tasks. Tasks include slaying 'Nargacuga,' upgrading event weapons, and submitting base exploration reports. Hunters who collect all stamps will be rewarded with an event-exclusive stamp for use in Group Hunts.
'Monster Hunter Now' is a real-world monster hunting game co-developed by Scopely Explore using Capcom's IP and support. Detailed information regarding the event can be found on the official website.
