Actoz Soft announced on the 27th that it will host an official Korean PvP tournament for FINAL FANTASY XIV with a total prize pool of 30 million won. Player registration opens on December 8, and the finals will be held on March 13–14, 2027.
The tournament is named the Crystalline Conflict Regional Championship 2027 Korea (CCRC 2027 Korea). Competitors will face off in FINAL FANTASY XIV's 5v5 PvP content, 'Crystalline Conflict'. The tournament expands upon the Limit Breakers events held in 2023 and 2024, featuring a reformed title, scale, and match rules. Under the newly introduced 'Job Ban System' rule, both teams will designate jobs that cannot be used before each match begins.
The total prize pool is the largest in the tournament's history. The winning team will receive 25 million won along with exclusive achievements, titles, and a trophy, while the runner-up will receive 5 million won. All players who reach the top 8 of the qualifiers will also receive tournament-exclusive titles and achievements.
The registration period runs from December 8 to December 28. Players holding a FINAL FANTASY XIV account can form teams of up to 7 members to apply. The 8 teams advancing to the qualifiers will be announced on the official website on January 5, 2027.
The qualifiers will take place on January 30, 2027, at an internet cafe in the Seoul area, featuring a best-of-three group round-robin format. The top 4 teams that advance will compete in a best-of-five main tournament bracket. The main tournament matches will be broadcast live on the official FINAL FANTASY XIV YouTube channel, and the two finalist teams will face off live at Fan Festival 2027 in Seoul on March 13–14, 2027. The tournament schedule spans approximately three months from the start of registration to the finals.
During the tournament period, events open to general players will also be held. Players can complete various missions to earn rewards.
Actoz Soft Producer Jung-hae Choi said, "Thanks to the passionate interest and support adventurers showed for the previous Limit Breakers, we are presenting the newly revamped CCRC 2027 Korea." He added, "We look forward to seeing even more fierce and strategic matches from adventurers through the newly introduced Job Ban System, and we ask for your interest and support leading all the way up to the finals at Fan Festival."
FINAL FANTASY XIV synchronized patch releases between the Korean and global servers in April of this year. It has announced the release of its new expansion, Evercold, for 2027, with major content updates and system overhauls ahead. Details about the tournament can be found on the official FINAL FANTASY XIV website and the dedicated tournament page.
