Move Interactive is running a commemorative event until December 8 to celebrate the 17th anniversary of the online game Digimon Masters. The event offers growth and convenience items for existing Tamers, as well as equipment and nurturing materials for new and returning Tamers.
Running for eight weeks starting on the 13th, the event features Four Holy Beasts Coins, an attendance event, and commemorative quests. Starting on the 27th, a physical giveaway event worth a total of 50 million won will also take place, offering prizes such as figures.
In the commemorative quest '17th ADVENTURE: Darkness Resurrected', players face major villains from the Digimon Adventure anime series in order, starting from Devimon through to Apocalymon. Completion rewards include items essential for progression, such as an 'Attribute Digivice Selection Box' and a 'Random Frontier Gear Box'.
Four Holy Beasts Coins can be obtained by completing daily quests for four Digimon: Qinglongmon, Zhuqiaomon, Xuanwumon, and Baihumon. Players can also log in daily during the '17th Anniversary Attendance Event' to receive Four Holy Beasts Digimon Coins.
Collected coins can be exchanged for items in exchange lists categorized by coin type. Exchange rewards for 'Zhuqiaomon's Coin' include a 'Four Holy Beasts Gear (Ultimate) Full Set Box' that new and returning Tamers can use to gear up. Separately, 17th-anniversary achievements alongside growth and convenience items for existing Tamers are also provided.
By collecting all four types of Four Holy Beasts Coins to exchange for '17th Anniversary Coins', players can obtain items such as an 'SSS+ Selection Box', a 'Ghost Keyring Selection Box', and a 'Fruit of Yggdrasil Box'.
A representative from Move Interactive said, “To mark our 17th anniversary, we prepared events so that new, returning, and existing Tamers alike can enjoy benefits suited to their progression stage.” They added, “We thank all the Tamers who have been with us for so long, and we hope you experience even greater fun in the game through this event.”
Detailed information about each event can be found on the official Digimon Masters website.
