NC's AION 2 surpassed 6.3 million total characters created globally as of the 20th. Total player game time recorded 108.2 million hours.
NC compiled these global service performance milestones into an infographic released on the 23rd. MMORPG AION 2 launched early access on September 30, followed by its official global release on the 5th. Reaching 6.3 million total characters created comes just 20 days after the start of early access.
At the time of its official launch, peak concurrent players surpassed 400,000. It claimed 1st place on Steam's weekly global top sellers chart in its first week, while cumulative watch time on global game streaming platform Twitch was recorded at 35.6 million hours.
Dungeon completion stats were also revealed. Party dungeon attempts reached 21.1 million, and instance dungeon clears totaled 53.2 million. In terms of class pick rates, the 'Gladiator' was the highest at 17%, while the 'Chanter' and 'Sorcerer' accounted for 13% each.
