The commemorative stamps featuring "Faker" Lee Sang-hyeok virtually sold out within half a day on their first day of sale. Park In-hwan, President of Korea Post, announced on his X (formerly Twitter) account on the 23rd that sales of the Faker commemorative stamps, which went on sale at head post offices nationwide, were near a complete sellout. The allocation for the online post office sold out entirely in the morning.

Crowds gathered at the Seoul Central Post Office, which sold both commemorative stamp cards and custom "My Own Stamps." According to President Park, around 400 people lined up from the evening of the 22nd through the early morning of the 23rd, with another 400 still waiting at the time of his post.
The total issuance stands at 140,000 full sheets. Korea Post previously announced on the 10th that 140,000 full sheets along with stamp albums would be issued on the 23rd, directing buyers to head post offices and the online post office. The Korea Postal Service Agency also revealed the designs for first-day covers and maximum cards on its official SNS on the 14th, announcing that online post office sales would begin at 10:00 AM on the 23rd.
President Park expressed his gratitude to buyers who waited for a long time in the chilly weather. He also acknowledged the staff of the Seoul Central Post Office and the Post Office Facility Management Corps who managed safety and order on-site. He added, "We will continue to issue meaningful commemorative stamps that encompass all generations, not just the younger generation."
The commemorative stamps feature key moments from Lee Sang-hyeok's career from his debut to reaching the pinnacle of esports. Since his debut in 2013, Lee has won six World Championships and ten LCK titles. In January, he became the first esports athlete to receive the Cheongnyong Medal, the highest class of the Order of Sport Merit. On the 10th, Korea Post opened a 'Faker Special Exhibition Hall' at the Stamp Museum inside the Seoul Central Post Office, displaying commemorative stamps and collectibles like player jerseys, alongside a video theater and gaming experience area.
Meanwhile, in the same post, President Park stated that all Korea Post employees join him in cheering for Faker to achieve a "four-peat"—winning four consecutive World Championship titles—and secure his seventh overall Worlds victory.
