Smilegate has added a time-limited 'Extreme' mode to Act 3 and the Finale of 'Kazeros Raid' in Lost Ark. Offering three difficulty levels and clear rewards, the game is also holding accompanying autumn events.
'Extreme' mode enhances the existing raid bosses' attacks and adds new attack patterns tailored to each boss's unique characteristics. Act 3 is open from September 23 to October 21, and the Finale will be available from October 21 to November 18.
The mode is divided into three difficulties: 'Normal', 'Hard', and 'Nightmare'. The required entry item levels are 1,730, 1,770, and 1,780 or higher, respectively. Regardless of difficulty, players completing the mode for the first time will receive progression materials, including a 'Leap Legendary Card Selection Pack' and an 'Epic Gem Selection Chest'.
Adventurers who complete the highest 'Nightmare' difficulty will receive a Legendary title and Kazeros Raid-themed emoticons. Completing 'Nightmare' difficulty for both Act 3 and the Finale will additionally reward crafting materials for an 'Ancient Core Selection Chest' and a Relic title.
Each completion of the mode rewards Gold as well as exclusive currencies, 'Coins of Lightning' and 'Coins of Light and Darkness'. Both currencies can be exchanged for progression materials, including a 'Relic Engraving Selection Chest'.
To coincide with the update, Smilegate is hosting two rounds of Chzzk Drops events. The first round runs from September 23 to October 7, and the second round from October 21 to November 4. Rewards are given based on watch time, and users who claim a Drops reward at least once will be entered into a raffle to win a mobile coupon for a chicken set.
In the 'Chewy Rice Cake Harvest Festival' running until October 21, the 'Chewy Rice Cake Legion' appears in combat content 'Chaos Rift' and 'Kurzan Front'. Defeating them drops 'Songpyeon Rin' items, which yield random rewards upon interaction. By collecting 'Songpyeon Stamps' earned upon logging in, players can unlock additional rewards based on the number of stamps collected, including a 'Lion Mask Mount Selection Chest' and a 'Chuseok Mokokong Pet Selection Chest'.
In the 'Finding Aldebaran's Golden Half-Moon Rice Cake' event, running until the same date, players complete missions after logging in to earn progression materials. Additional rewards, such as an 'Epic Gem Selection Chest' and a 'Joy Legendary Card Pack', are awarded based on cumulative participation. During the Chuseok holiday, a Hot Time event will also be held, granting rewards to adventurers who stay logged in for at least 1 hour each day.
