EXODUS, a cinematic single-player sci-fi action-adventure RPG reminiscent of Mass Effect, will launch on April 7, 2027.
Archetype Entertainment revealed the release date and a new trailer for its upcoming title EXODUS at Gamescom Opening Night Live. The trailer features Salt, an intelligent Awakened octopus. Together, Salt and Jun fight to defend their homeworld.
The protagonist, Jun, gains a unique cast of companions, including humans and Awakened animals. Each companion possesses their own skills, trauma, and reasons for joining the fight. Salt is one of them. Piloting a specialized combat mech, Salt employs long-range sniping, swift evasive maneuvers, and ink-like smokescreens.
The trailer offers a short cinematic glimpse into Salt's past. The development team plans to reveal more content if the game reaches 1 million wishlists.
First revealed in 2023, EXODUS previously showcased approximately 20 minutes of gameplay footage at Summer Game Fest in June. The game is scheduled to launch on April 7, 2027, for PC, PS5, and XSX|S.
