LGD Gaming top laner 'Burdol' Noh Tae-yoon has expressed his determination to never give up, fueled by his relentless work ethic and the support of his fans, even amidst the grueling LPL schedule.

LGD has struggled in Split 3, currently sitting at a 1-7 record. However, they secured a valuable win on the 12nd by defeating LPL powerhouse TES 2-0.

'Burdol' reflected on the match, saying, "We had some communication issues within the team previously, but in this match, I tried to keep things as concise and clear as possible. Our pick-ban phase also went according to plan, which allowed us to secure a clean victory for the first time in a while." Regarding his pick of Jayce, he added, "I wanted to show more, but the game ended earlier than expected, which is a bit of a shame." He also noted, "I don't have much trouble with basic Chinese communication, but I still feel limited when I need to convey nuances as precisely as I can in Korean, so I am continuing to study the language to bridge that gap."

From his time with T1, Gen.G, and Dplus KIA in Korea, to various overseas leagues, a return to Korea, and finally settling in with LGD Gaming in the LPL, 'Burdol'' has certainly had a winding journey. Through it all, the reason he could keep moving forward was the support of his fans. 'Burdol'' shared, "I'm thrilled and happy to meet so many fans wherever I go through the LPL's 'Rolling Roadshow' this year. It’s moments like these that keep me pushing forward, making me realize just how attractive a career as a pro gamer really is."

He also shared his honest feelings about his current time at LGD. "This is the first time in my pro career that I've experienced such a long losing streak. Being the only Korean on the team, including the coaching staff, can feel lonely at times, but the team at Shadow Corporation has taken great care of me. They've created an environment where I can focus on consistent practice toward the goal of winning, which has helped me stay grounded."

Having moved past his days as a highly touted rookie to gain extensive experience, he also touched on his shifting mindset regarding his professional career. "Honestly, in the past, I felt that a pro gamer's career was short," 'Burdol' said. "But watching 'Faker' compete for such a long time changed my mind. I want to show my fans that I can keep developing and moving forward, at least until I have to enlist in the military."

Finally, when asked about the evolution of his playstyle from his LCK days to now, 'Burdol' concluded the interview by saying, "I used to think my laning phase was a bit lacking, but recently, I've gained a lot of confidence in that area. However, I still tend to show some weaknesses in teamfights, so I am working hard to address those and improve my overall performance."
