Hanwha Life Esports (HLE) secured a 2-0 victory against BNK FearX in the second round of the 2026 League of Legends Champions Korea (LCK) regular season, held at the LoL Park in Jongno on the 7th. As if to prove that their dominant win over KT Rolster in the previous match was no fluke, they maintained that same solid form to extend their winning streak to three games.

The following is the full interview with 'Teddy' Park Jin-seong.

Q. You've extended your winning streak to three with today's victory. How do you feel?

BNK FearX looked incredibly strong after 'Taeyoon' Kim Tae-yoon joined the roster. I'm relieved we were able to win 2-0 and keep our streak alive. It feels great.

Q. It feels like this match proved your win against KT wasn't just a one-off. Your performance seems to have clearly leveled up.

Honestly, even before the regular season started, I believed our team was good enough to be in the current standings. The struggle was that we just couldn't close out games. But seeing our hard work pay off like this makes it worth the effort. Everyone is working really hard.

Q. You could say you've finally broken out of your shell in terms of your ability to close out games. What do you think broke that shell for Hanwha Life Esports Brion.

I think that first win to break the losing streak was the most important thing. Also, the losses we accumulated before that played a part. We lost so much that we became filled with spite. Because of that, even when we couldn't close out a game, we didn't give up and were able to make more level-headed decisions.

Q. It's also encouraging that the team's reliance on 'Teddy' has decreased.

I've always thought our top side was plenty capable. Even on days when I'm not in the best condition, the team is in a state where we can play with confidence.

Q. The substitution of 'Roamer' Jo Woo-jin also seems to have had a positive impact.

When you're on a losing streak, the atmosphere is bound to be down. In that situation, 'Roamer' joining us definitely helped shift the mood. Plus, he's been playing really well, so he's been a great breath of fresh air in many ways.

Q. During this winning streak, 'Namgung' Namgung Seong-hun has frequently appeared at the right place at the right time, making plays that leave a strong impression.

Starting from the end of last year and through the LCK Cup, 'Namgung' has continued to improve his movement and his understanding of the game with every tournament. He's doing a great job.

Q. With 4 wins, you've settled into 6th place in the mid-table, and now you have a series of strong teams ahead of you. What does Hanwha Life Esports Brion need most to climb higher?

We met T1 at the Road to EWC, and I definitely felt how difficult it was to prepare for their bans and picks. Their champion pool is so wide that they have too many cards to play. I think if we expand our own champion pool and build more detail into our game operations, we can definitely overcome the top teams.

Q. Your next opponent is Nongshim RedForce. They are on a losing streak, but they are a team with a weight class that cannot be ignored.

In Nongshim's case, they've changed their ADC and they've been losing, so they must be filled with spite as well. Just as we used our spite to beat KT, we need to be careful.

Q. Any final words for the fans.

We were on a losing streak, but now we've managed to win three in a row. I'll keep working hard so we can continue this streak. Thank you for always supporting us.
