Hanwha Life Esports defeated DN Super 2-0 in their 2026 League of Legends Champions Korea (LCK) regular season Round 2 match held at the Chzzk LoL Park in Jongno on the 6th. Despite the matchup between the 1st and 10th place teams, the game turned into a back-and-forth slugfest; however, it was the league-leading Hanwha Life Esports that maintained their focus until the end. With this victory, Hanwha Life Esports extended their winning streak to nine games.
The following is the full transcript of the interview with Head Coach Yoon Sung-young and 'Kanavi' Seo Jin-hyeok.

Q. You won today's match 2-0, marking your ninth consecutive win.
Head Coach Yoon Sung-young = I’m happy with the 2-0 win. However, there were quite a few moments in the game that left something to be desired, so we’ll discuss those and make the necessary adjustments.
'Kanavi' = I think the 2-0 win itself is great. That said, there was a point in Game 2 where we were at a disadvantage, so we need to talk about why that happened and how we can handle it better in the future.
Q. What were the highlights and the shortcomings of today's match?
Head Coach Yoon Sung-young = I can't go into every detail, but we were able to test out many things that I felt were lacking. I think we just need to have a good discussion about those points. Regardless of the win or loss, I think it was a day that provided a lot of help to the team.
'Kanavi' = Personally, I’m disappointed with my Nocturne play in Game 2. I felt the opponent's composition made it difficult to play Nocturne, but I also think I misjudged my ultimate timing and engagement windows. I’ll go back and review the VODs.
Q. Game 2 lasted quite a bit longer than Game 1. What was your take on that, Coach?
Head Coach Yoon Sung-young = It’s true that the composition was tricky for Nocturne to deal with in Game 2. However, beyond that, I think the roles of the other picks and the overall game structure we wanted to verify came through well. Even if it was a bit disappointing, we gained some valuable takeaways.
Q. (To 'Kanavi') In Game 1, you played Xin Zhao with a 'Titanic Hydra' and 'Twilight and Dawn' item build, seemingly utilizing the AP buffs.
'Kanavi' = I used 'Titanic Hydra' to boost my jungle clear speed and early-game damage to cover the early phase. I noticed in the patch notes that Xin Zhao's AP scaling was higher than I expected, so I thought the 'Twilight and Dawn' item would fit well and tried it out in ranked games first. It provided a lot of healing and performed well, so I used it in the tournament, and the results were good.
Q. Your next match is the Vietnam Roadshow. The schedule is tight after that; how do you plan to manage your condition?
Head Coach Yoon Sung-young = Our players are very good at managing themselves, so I’m not too worried. I believe my role is to create an environment where they can get as much rest as possible whenever they have the chance. We’ll go and play well.
'Kanavi' = I’ve done plenty of traveling during the season back when I was in the LPL, so it doesn't bother me much. It might be a first for the other players, but they are all veterans with plenty of professional experience, so I trust they will handle it well. I’m not too worried, and since this is our first away trip, we’ll prepare thoroughly and make sure to win.
Q. Lastly, a word for the fans who always support you.
Head Coach Yoon Sung-young = The players are working really hard, so I hope you continue to support us. We will make sure to perform well in our next match.
'Kanavi' = We’re already on a nine-game winning streak, and I’ll keep working hard so we can keep it going. Thank you for your constant support.
