Nongshim RedForce lost 0-2 to Gen.G Esports in the second round of the 2026 League of Legends Champions Korea (LCK) regular season, held at the LoL Park Chzzk Arena in Jongno on the 6th. Despite making the bold move of trading for a new AD carry mid-season to turn things around, the team continues to struggle, extending its losing streak to five matches and nine consecutive sets.
The following is the full transcript of the interview with Head Coach Choi In-kyu and 'Lehends' Son Si-woo.

Q. Could you share your thoughts on today's match.
Head Coach Choi In-kyu = It's very disappointing to lose 0-2 today.
'Lehends': I don't feel good, as the losing streak continues.
Q. What would you say was the most disappointing aspect of today's match?
Head Coach Choi In-kyu = It may be due to the losing streak, but it feels like we've genuinely forgotten how to close out games even when we've reached a point where we should be able to win. It's frustrating to keep losing games that were within our grasp.
Q. You picked Top Twisted Fate in Game 2. What was the intention, and why didn't it work out as planned?
Head Coach Choi In-kyu = We picked it to gain priority against Gnar. However, the matchup we envisioned collapsed early in the game, so it didn't play out as we had hoped.
Q. The 0-2 losses are piling up. In Game 1 today, you were ahead by 9,900 gold before being overturned.
Head Coach Choi In-kyu = There were definitely games we could have won. If we had managed to take even a single game win during this streak, we would have retained more confidence and seen a glimmer of hope. Instead, this string of helpless losses has dampened the team's morale. We keep missing opportunities to win to the point where it feels like we've forgotten how to close, but I believe that if we can secure just one game win, the players' instincts will awaken and we can bounce back. Both the players and the staff are doing our absolute best to secure a victory.
Q. This is your second match playing alongside 'Diable' Nam Dae-geun. How is it going.
Head Coach Choi In-kyu = I think I'll be able to give you a clear answer once we are able to play a proper team game. Since we haven't been able to win while playing from behind, it's difficult to say much at this stage.
'Lehends': I agree. I think I'll only be able to comment on 'Diable' joining once it actually leads to a win. We haven't proven anything yet, so I'll talk about it after we secure a victory.
Q. Are you considering further changes to the roster to shift the atmosphere?
Head Coach Choi In-kyu = I have nothing to say on that matter at this time.
Q. Lastly, a word on your resolve for the next match.
Head Coach Choi In-kyu = We will prepare as best we can to ensure we return with a win in the next match.
'Lehends': We will make sure to win the next one.
