The true Death Knight has finally arrived in Aden World. A user on the Deporoju server has reached level 52, taking the top spot in this week's Lineage Classic news. Along with the welcome news that the 'Corrupted Land'—which remained crowded despite previous expansions—has been further enlarged to better accommodate ATS (Auto-Targeting System) users, details on a new subscription event have also been announced.

■ The Arrival of the True Death Knight! 'Park K' from Deporoju Reaches Level 52

Park K (now nicknamed 'Death Knight') from the Deporoju server, who was the first to reach level 50, has now become the first player across all servers to hit level 52. An official announcement on Saturday, May 2, confirmed that the Death Knight (Park K) of The K pledge achieved level 52, securing the title of the first player to reach this milestone.

As this is the most iconic level in Lineage, special rewards will be presented. The player will receive a commemorative Lineage Classic solid gold Great Sword of Destiny. A special package will also be delivered, including a Lineage Classic guidebook, a fabric map scroll, photo cards with a display stand, and an OST CD with a player. Aside from the solid gold Great Sword of Destiny, these commemorative items will also be awarded to the first player to reach level 52 on each respective server.

Additionally, the Deporoju server received special push rewards and buffs. Players can obtain special transformation scrolls to choose between Death Knight or Dark Elf forms, along with various consumables. A special buff statue has been placed in town; clicking it grants a 30-minute buff (AC-1, MR+5%, MP Recovery+1, Max HP+52) available until May 9. These special push rewards and buff statues will be provided to other servers once their first level 52 player emerges.

■ Character Creation Restrictions Lifted! A Lonely Battle for Stable Gameplay

Lineage Classic is engaged in a difficult struggle against illegal botting programs. The team has been using strong countermeasures, such as repeatedly restricting and lifting character creation to manage the environment. Since the restriction on April 29 (Wed), accounts with accumulated reports have been sent to 'jail' and suspended.

Following a week of crackdowns on botting operations, the May 6 (Wed) patch lifted character creation restrictions on most servers, with a few exceptions. Servers with high traffic that require more detailed monitoring remain restricted, likely to continue filtering out bot characters. Attention is focused on how the team will continue to identify bot accounts and when restrictions will be fully lifted across all servers.

■ Our Beautiful Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter: Corrupted Land Expansion

While ongoing efforts to catch botters have made field hunting somewhat more viable, the Corrupted Land—where players use ATS for 3 hours daily—remained nearly impossible to hunt in due to overcrowding. Recognizing this issue, the May 6 (Wed) patch expanded the Corrupted Land.

While the four existing zones and the overall map size remain the same, the accessible areas have been expanded into Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter themes. The map's atmosphere has also been slightly adjusted to match these themes. Although the map hasn't physically grown larger or added specific new locations, the addition of these distinct regions is expected to help alleviate the overcrowding issues.

■ Added MP Recovery? 90-Day Spring Subscription Event

The 90-day passes sold at launch are nearing their expiration. A new 90-day pass has been announced for the Classic Shop, which includes a 'Radiant Spring Energy' item upon purchase. This item provides a weight bonus and, newly added, MP recovery; it will be automatically deleted 90 days after being claimed from the inventory.

Unlike the previous pass reward, 'Memories of Talking Island,' which had no expiration date, this new item has a set duration because it provides stat bonuses. Existing 90-day subscription users will receive the item for free without any additional steps.
