Steam, the world's largest digital game distribution platform, has unveiled a revamped store layout through a new beta version. The update focuses on making content discovery more intuitive for users.

The 'Main Page' remains largely unchanged in terms of functionality. The updates are limited to UI improvements, such as a cleaner layout and a greater emphasis on personalization, allowing users to find desired games more quickly.
The featured and recommendation systems now offer improved visibility, with personalized recommendations based on an individual gamer's play history and interests placed front and center. Notably, hovering over a game's cover image in the featured and recommended sections now triggers a short trailer; this feature can be disabled via Steam settings if desired.
In the 'Discounts' section, cover images have been enlarged to provide a more intuitive overview of games, and the basic game information displayed upon mouse-over has been made more detailed.

Additionally, new sections have been added: 'Wishlist' and 'DLC for Games You Play.' The 'Wishlist' section displays only those titles from your wishlist that are currently on sale, while 'DLC for Games You Play' shows unpurchased DLC for games already in your library.

These improvements can be viewed via the Steam client beta. To participate, you can opt in through the 'Beta participation' settings in the Steam interface.
