Teamfight Tactics Brings Back Dragonlands: Uncharted Realms in Patch 15.21

Riot Games is reviving one of Teamfight Tactics’ most beloved sets with the return of Dragonlands: Uncharted Realms in Patch 15.21. Originally launched in 2022 as part of Set 7.5, Uncharted Realms captured players’ imaginations with its sprawling roster of dragons, distinctive traits, and the iconic Treasure Dragon mechanic. Now, the set returns as part of TFT’s ongoing Set Revival series, giving veterans and newcomers alike a chance to revisit the magic with a modern twist.

Running from October 22 to December 2, 2025, the limited-time event reintroduces the fantasy of Dragonlands with updated systems, quality-of-life improvements, and entirely new gameplay layers. Riot describes the Revival as a “refined celebration” of what made the set so memorable—highlighting dragons, fantasy-driven mechanics, and explosive late-game moments.

New Augments, Traits, and Encounters Take Flight

Players can expect five new Trait Augments—including Astral: Projection and Darkflight Resurrect—alongside three new Champion Augments, such as Idas Touch and Nasus’ Soul Eater. These additions aim to remix established strategies while pushing the meta into fresh territory.

Riot is also introducing four Prismatic Traits—Jade, Lagoon, Shimmerscale, and Tempest—each adding extreme late-game potential through enhanced bonuses. In addition, new Opening Encounters like Treasurier Dragon and Dragon Herald will shake up the early stages of each match, ensuring no two games start the same.

Fan-favorite dragons, including Ao Shin, Aurelion Sol, Terra, and Nomsy, return with updated balance tuning to match the pace of TFT’s current design. The Treasure Dragon mechanic also returns, letting players roll for powerful loot to tailor their path to victory. Rounding out the event is a new Set Revival Pass+, priced at 975 RP, which grants players in-game rewards like Treasure Tokens, Realm Crystals, and the exclusive Jade Baron Little Legend.

“Bringing back Dragonlands gave us the chance to highlight what players loved most about the set—Dragons, traits, and big fantasy moments—while refining it with today’s systems,” said Mindy Chi, Lead Revival Designer for TFT. Christina Jiang, Events Product Lead, added that the team wanted to “tap into old memories while giving today’s community new stories to tell.”
