Razer Named Official Peripherals Partner for EA’s “Battlefield 6”

Global gaming lifestyle brand Razer has teamed up with EA (Electronic Arts) to become the official peripherals partner for the much-anticipated new title Battlefield 6. Through this collaboration, Razer and EA plan to deliver an unprecedented, sensory-rich experience in one of the year’s most talked-about shooters.

The latest entry in EA’s flagship Battlefield franchise, Battlefield 6 is a large-scale, multiplayer first-person shooter set in 2027. This installment integrates Razer Sensa HD Haptics and Razer Chroma RGB, maximizing immersion in both all-out warfare and high-speed close-quarters combat. Combined with Battlefield’s signature tactical destruction, the game promises a new dimension of play.

According to DICE’s technical director Víðir Reynisson, immersion has always been a defining feature of Battlefield 6. He explained that working with Razer allowed the team to express that focus in fresh ways. The Sensa HD Haptics technology converts sound and visual cues into physical feedback, letting players physically register the force of destruction, the shockwaves from explosions, and the momentum of combat. Meanwhile, Chroma RGB extends the energy of those moments beyond the screen, flooding the player’s space with coordinated light and motion to amplify the battlefield experience.

On compatible PCs, Razer Sensa HD Haptics delivers ultra-low-latency, multi-directional feedback that makes players feel as if they are standing in the middle of the action. From the heavy impact of tank shells to the sharp recoil of a sniper rifle, a total of 176 haptic effects are available. This functionality is supported by the Razer Kraken V4 Pro wireless gaming headset, the Razer Freyja HD haptic gaming cushion, and the Razer Wolverine V3 Pro wireless PC controller.

Razer Chroma RGB synchronizes with in-game events through 260 dynamic lighting effects. The blinding flash of explosions, the illuminated path of gunfire, urgent mission alerts, and even heartbeat pulses extend into the player’s setup via Chroma-enabled devices. Supported products include the Razer Kraken V4 Pro wireless gaming headset, Razer Cobra Pro wireless gaming mouse, Razer BlackWidow V4 Pro 75% wireless gaming keyboard, and the Razer Firefly V2 Pro gaming mouse mat.

Meanwhile, Battlefield 6 has joined Razer’s immersive ecosystem, which now integrates with over 100 titles. The game is scheduled for full release on October 10.
