Netmarble announced Wednesday that it showcased its upcoming action RPG Mongil: Star Dive at IFA 2025 in Berlin, continuing its collaboration with Samsung Electronics.
The event marked the second major showing of Mongil: Star Dive this year, following its debut at gamescom 2025. Attendees at Samsung’s booth were able to play a demo of the game on the Odyssey 3D monitor, Samsung’s glasses-free 3D gaming display. The technology, powered by advanced Eye Tracking and View Mapping, adapts visuals in real time to deliver depth and perspective without requiring special eyewear.
Netmarble said the game was optimized specifically for Odyssey 3D, highlighting cinematic cutscenes and combat designed in Unreal Engine 5. Players reported that the added dimension of 3D enhanced the sense of immersion, with one attendee noting that the battles “felt like stepping right into the game world.”

“After a fantastic collaboration at gamescom 2025, we’re excited to continue showcasing Mongil: Star Dive with Samsung at IFA,” a Netmarble spokesperson said. “We remain committed to delivering immersive experiences across Samsung devices and will continue refining the game based on player feedback ahead of launch.”
Samsung representatives also emphasized the partnership, saying Odyssey 3D had been fine-tuned to enhance gameplay with “precisely tuned depth effects across characters, environments, and action sequences.”

Mongil: Star Dive serves as the sequel to Netmarble’s 2013 mobile RPG Monster Taming. The title features three-character, tag-based combat, monster capturing and synthesis, and cross-platform availability on PC and mobile. The game is set for a global release in the second half of 2025. Pre-registration is open through the official website, the Epic Games Store, Google Play, and Apple’s App Store. Netmarble confirmed that the game will also appear at Tokyo Game Show 2025 later this month. Additional updates will be shared via the official brand site and social media channels.
