Riot Games Opens Largest‑Ever Teamfight Tactics Pop‑Up in Seoul

Riot Games has opened pre‑registration for its largest‑ever Teamfight Tactics (TFT) pop‑up, themed around the game’s latest “K.O. Colosseum” set. Beginning at 2 p.m. KST today (July 28), fans can reserve free entry and book spots in special influencer matches via Naver Reservation.

Running August 1–10 at The Gave in Seongsu‑dong, the immersive space will bring TFT mechanics like “Refresh” and “Shared Draft” to life. Attendees receive limited‑edition collectibles—including a “Welcome Back” enamel pin, acrylic keychain and a spatula‑style fan—and can complete a stamp tour to earn one of two signature beverages, Pengu Blue Lemonade or Chubby Strawberry Ade, plus a chance at a Riot Store Lucky Draw for prizes such as a Chubby Tube Cup Holder or Power Up! Beach Ball.

At the on‑site “Fight Arena,” players can test the new set, with rewards tiered by placement. Photo backdrops from “The Throne” to “The Penitentiary” offer themed selfie opportunities, while completing event challenges unlocks exclusive merchandise. The pop‑up’s Riot Store will operate a separate, expedited queue for ticket holders and stock pop‑up–only items like the TFT Pengu Feather Knight Spatula Plush and the new Pengu Collection apparel.

Influencer showmatches are capped at 72 participants per day on a first‑come, first‑served basis. Those with reservations will be entered into daily drawings to face or team up with TFT personalities, including Jeonghyeok, Dr. Oh and Seungsangsing, in “Double Up” formats.

Additional activations include a Photoism booth for instant portrait prints and a Monami station where visitors can color Little Legend designs; sharing on social media nets a limited Monami pen set. Full details, including scheduling and participation guidelines, are available on TFT’s official website and social channels.

Riot Games, founded in 2006 and best known for League of Legends, continues to expand its esports and entertainment footprint. Celebrating LoL’s 15th anniversary, Riot’s portfolio encompasses TFT, Legends of Runeterra, VALORANT, Wild Rift and the animated series Arcane, which garnered multiple Annie and Emmy Awards for its storytelling and design.
