Scheduled from January 29 to February 2, the event features a total prize pool of $2 million, positioning it as the largest Apex Legends esports competition in history.
Marking its inaugural appearance in Asia, the Championship will seamlessly integrate top-tier Apex Legends competition with vibrant Japanese cultural elements. Fans can expect live-carved ice sculptures inspired by Sapporo’s renowned Snow Festival, a unique Japanese-themed opening ceremony, and various other cultural festivities designed to enhance the overall experience.
The event will showcase a diverse lineup of broadcast talent, ensuring comprehensive coverage for viewers both in the arena and worldwide. Audiences can watch the competition through platforms such as YouTube, Twitch, and FACEIT Watch, with options for multiview and official watch parties available in eight different languages. Additionally, a dedicated Japanese livestream will be hosted by popular RIDDLE player YukioFPS and his coach Assiikun, catering specifically to the local audience.
A standout feature of the Championship is the live creator showmatch, where content creators and special guests will compete for exclusive titles. This interactive segment allows fans present at the venue to participate by signing up in designated freeplay areas, adding an engaging and participatory element to the event.
The tournament will follow a structured format, beginning with the Group Stage on January 29 and 30, progressing to a two-day double-elimination bracket on January 31 and February 1, and culminating in the Match Point Finals on February 2 at 11:30 a.m. local time.
