GAM Stark wants to go as far in the tournament as much as they can.

On May 12th (PDT) in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil; Gigabyte Marines picked up a win against Team WE in the third match during Day 3 of the Group Stage of Mid-Season Invitational 2017. After the game, Phan "Stark" Công Minh was interviewed on stage for his thoughts after the match.

When asked about how GAM improved on closing the game overnight, Stark explained that they just took the game slower: "We couldn't leverage our advantages in yesterday's matches. This time, we played a bit slower and controlled all regions to get the win."

Although everyone was tied at second place with 2-3 records, Stark's goal was still just doing the best that he can: "Coming here, our goal was just to go as far as we can. So, our goal right now is to get to the semifinals."

Finally, Stark ended the interview with modesty when asked about his impression of the tournament as a rookie who made his debut less than a month ago: "I am very anxious but happy at the same time to be among some of the best top laners of the world."
