Until the end of the year, fans of Pokemon GO have the opportunity to grab some free exclusive cosmetics as part of the game's collaboration with Verizon. Receiving the new items is as simple as visiting Verizon's page about the promotion (or using the code "LRQEV2VZ59UDA"), going into the "Shop" menu on the Pokemon GO app,  and entering the code into "Promos". 

The items included as part of the giveaway are the "Verizon Jacket" and the "Verizon Mask." Both fit in with the aesthetic of Verizon's branding — red and black colors, with the company's signature red checkmark featured on the front of the jacket. Recently, there have been many different free promotions for cosmetics in Pokemon GO, with another available one being the mobile game's partnership with Amazon Prime Gaming. Amazon Prime subscribers have the ability to redeem in-game bundles including Lucky Eggs, Pokéballs, Golden Razz Berries, Max Revives, and Star Pieces.

Part of the Verizon partnership includes providing Pokemon GO Partner Research to Trainers for the first time in the United States — timed research that players can access using an event ticket acquired from participating Pokemon GO partners. 

According to an announcement on the game's official website, "From September 1, 2022, at 9:00 a.m. local time to November 30, 2022, at 9:00 p.m. local time, eligible Verizon customers in the United States will be able to claim a ticket to access special Partner Research by visiting the Verizon UP Rewards Center in the My Verizon app. The Partner Research includes various tasks that Trainers can complete for rewards—Trainers will even be able to encounter unusual Pokémon and Pokémon with powerful Mega Evolutions! If you’re lucky, you may encounter a Shiny Pokémon!" More information on how to redeem such codes can be found here.
