Less than 24 hours after Riot Games released patch 12.6 for League of Legends, a content creator for the title noticed a change that went live but was not mentioned in the patch notes that can cause games to end quite a bit quicker than normal.

Vandiril, a Youtuber with nearly one million subscribers, released a video on Thursday morning showcasing both team's Nexus and Inhibitors not regenerating health once damaged and the Nexus itself having 45% less health than usual.

In the video, Vandiril hits the rift with Jinx and pulls up the health bar for the Nexus on patch 12.5 and patch 12.6. In the former, the Nexus has 5500 health and slowly regenerates while Jinx blasts away at it. In 12.6, the Nexus' health drops to 3010 and does not regain health despite Vandiril showcasing an extended period of time.

With a change so significant that games can end much quicker than usual, one would assume the game's development team would include the intended adjustment in the 12.6 patch notes. As there is no mention of tweaks to fortifications, Vandiril and players are assuming it's a bug.

As April Fools Day falls on Friday and the patch was released two days earlier, Riot Games could be pulling an early prank on their players but if that's not the case, a member of the development team will likely comment on the change later in the day.
