In the 2nd set of the finals of 2017 LCK Spring Split at Samsan World Gymnasium in Incheon on April 22 (SKT), SKT T1 surprised the audience with Mid Karma and ADC Twitch, and KT Rolster responded by bringing Fiora on the table.

The next decision by SKT after claiming victory of the 1st set with Fizz was Mid Karma and ADC Twitch. The team attempted to cause the confusion on the opponent team by picking Lulu in advance and also Karma afterwards, and eventually swapped the champion to be used on the mid lane. SKT completed the composition by selecting Twitch as the last pick - the champion based on the auto attack damage that can make a great synergy with Karma and Lulu.

KT also selected a rather unexpected champion for the last pick. Although SKT picked Camille quickly and tried to induce KT to pick tank champions by spending their bans on the top lane, KT picked Fiora instead of Nautilus and established DPS vs DPS scenario.

Even though KT had good moments of putting pressure during laning phases in the beginning, the shields of SKT successfully protected teammates several times, and eventually gave away the 2nd match to SKT due to SKT’s Lee Sin and Twitch.
