An influencer with 120K TikTok followers has been charged with murder. 

Beauty TikToker Mahek Bukhari, known as May B Vlogs, was one of five people arrested after a fatal car crash left Saqib Hussain and Mohammed Hashim Ijazuddin dead on February 11. The two 21-year-olds were driven off the road, resulting in a violent crash in Leicestershire, England. 

The car was ultimately said to have been "split in two" from the impact. Bukhari and others within the other car had allegedly chased down the victims' car and rammed them while both cars were speeding down the highway.

Prosecutor Mohammed Zarandouz said that the high-speed chase happened in the early hours of February 11. One of the victims had called 999 to tell police about the incident. After a loud scream was heard, the call was disconnected. 

Bukhari was arrested along with her mother, Ansreen Bukhari, Natasha Akhtar, Raees Jamal, and Rekan Karwan. It's currently not clear how each person in Bukhari's car was involved with the murder. It's also uncertain what caused Bukhari and her mother to chase down the two guys and ram their car. 

The mother and daughter will appear for a plea and directions hearing on March 18, with a trial date provisionally set for September 26. They could face "the most serious charge known to the criminal court," according to the judge.
