Round 2 matches of the 2021 LCK Summer playoffs have locked in. DWG KIA, the first place team of the regular split, chose NS RedForce as their opponents in round 2.

Due to DK’s decision to face NS, Gen.G will be facing T1. The first match, DK vs NS, will take place on Aug 21, while Gen.G will face T1 on Aug 22. All matches will be held in a best of five format. 

NS has a 4-2 set record against DWG KIA this split. However, the last time NS played DK was on July 15, and since DK have looked far better than they did in that match, it’s hard to predict how the series will go just based on those stats.

GEN vs T1 faces off once again in the playoffs; during the Spring playoffs, Gen.G swept T1 3-0. Will GEN be able to defeat T1 this split as well to head to the finals? Or will history not repeat itself this time around?

The winners of the two matches will face off in the grand finals on Aug 28. It will be held at the CJ ENM Studios in Ilsan, South Korea, without any live audience in attendance at the venue.
