Coca-Cola and State Farm both released statements to the Washington Post this week, indicating that they are reevaluating their sponsorship relationships with the Overwatch League. The statements come amid the ongoing backlash against Activision Blizzard over a gender discrimination lawsuit filed against the company two weeks ago by the California Department of Fair Employment and Housing.

Coca-Cola, one of the most prominent sponsors of the Overwatch League, told WP, “We are working with our partners at Blizzard as we take a step back for a moment to revisit future plans and programs.”
In a similar statement, State Farm told WP that they are “reevaluating our limited marketing relationship with the Overwatch League.” The company also reportedly requested that “no advertisements run during the matches this weekend.”
Other OWL sponsors have also been quietly distancing themselves from the Overwatch League over the past two weeks as well. Many OWL viewers pointed out that the T-Mobile branding was not present during last week's broadcasts. T-Mobile also disappeared from the Overwatch/FPS podcast Platchat that features multiple members of the OWL talent team and the OWL website.
In a similar fashion, Cheez-It and Pringle's logos have been removed from the Overwatch League website. Coca-Cola, StateFarm, Teamspeak, IBM, and Xfinity all continue to appear on the OWL website as of writing this article.
While these statements may indicate the Overwatch League will soon be losing sponsors, none of these sponsors have officially announced they are withdrawing their sponsorship of the league.
